Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny - Thursday, 25th September, 2025 7.00 pm

The Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee were scheduled to meet to discuss a number of topics, including a proposal to enter into a new Section 75 agreement[^2] with North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT), and proposed changes to the Minimum Income Guarantee uplift. The committee was also expected to review the draft forward plan for the 2025/26 municipal year.

Council - Thursday, 17th July, 2025 7.30 pm

Waltham Forest Council met on 17 July 2025, and after observing a moment of silence for the victims of the 7/7 attacks and others, councillors discussed a range of issues including play and community spaces, the borough's financial situation, and parking fees. A motion to support and improve play opportunities for children was passed, and several appointments to committees and outside bodies were agreed.

Grant of a premises licence - Tanya Restaurant, 624 High Road Leytonstone, London E11 3DA, Licensing Act 2003 Sub-Committee - Thursday, 19th June, 2025 2.00 pm

The Licensing Act 2003 Sub-Committee met to consider an application for a premises licence for Tanya Restaurant, located at 624 High Road, Leytonstone, London, E11 3DA. The committee decided to grant the application in part, with amended hours and additional conditions. TheSub-Committee agreed to the amended hours and additional conditions outlined in Appendix F of the agenda.

Appointments Panel - Corporate Director of Adult Social Care Operations, Staffing Committee - Thursday, 5th June, 2025 12.30 pm
