The Commission discussed capital build opportunities in adult social care, the City and Hackney Safeguarding Adults Board Annual Report, health impacts of air pollution, and an issue relating to the accuracy of 'observations' recording in mental health inpatient units.

Appointments Sub Committee - Monday 16 September 2024 5.00 pm, NEW

The Appointments Sub Committee of Hackney Council met on Monday 16 September 2024. Two items were scheduled to be discussed in a part of the meeting that was closed to the public, in accordance with the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012. The Committee was scheduled to consider whether to exclude the public and press from the meeting during consideration of these items.

Corporate Committee - Tuesday 10 September 2024 6.30 pm

This meeting was scheduled to cover a wide range of topics, including the Hackney Council Pay Policy for its Chief Officers, a report on Shop Front Trading across the borough, and the Council’s Corporate Transformation Strategy.

Cabinet Procurement and Insourcing Committee - Monday 2 September 2024 2.00 pm

The committee agreed to join the LASER[^1] framework agreement for a further four years and to appoint TotalEnergies Gas and Power as the energy supplier for the first year. The committee also agreed to award a new barrister's framework contract, to be procured by Ealing Council on behalf of the London Boroughs' Legal Alliance (LBLA), and to award a four-year framework agreement for capital lift works to a minimum of three contractors.
