Regulatory Committee - Tuesday 1 July 2025 10.30 am

The Regulatory Committee convened to elect a chair, review planning applications for the Ufton Landfill Site, and discuss appointments to external organisations. Councillor Chris Mills was elected as chair. The committee deferred decisions on planning applications relating to the Ufton Landfill Site pending a site visit.

Staff and Pensions Committee - Monday 9 June 2025 10.00 am

The Staff and Pensions Committee met to appoint a chair and vice-chair, discuss governance and policy updates, review pension administration activities, and consider employers joining and leaving the pension fund. Councillor Michael Bannister, Portfolio Holder for Customer and Localities, was appointed chair, and Councillor Robert Gisbourne was appointed vice-chair of the committee. The committee approved the report on employers joining and leaving the pension fund.

Pension Fund Investment Sub-Committee - Monday 9 June 2025 2.00 pm

The Pension Fund Investment Sub-Committee were scheduled to meet on Monday 9 June 2025 to appoint a chair and vice-chair, review the minutes of a previous meeting of the Warwickshire Local Pension Board, and discuss a report on pension fund governance.

Annual Council, County Council - Friday 16 May 2025 10.00 am

At the annual general meeting of Warwickshire County Council, Councillor Edward Harris was elected as chair, Councillor Dale Keeling was elected as vice-chair, and Councillor Rob Howard was appointed as leader of the council. Councillors also approved appointments to committees and other bodies, received the annual report on the use of urgency and call-in procedures, reviewed the overview and scrutiny annual report, and approved amendments to contract standing orders.
