Young People, Learning and Employment Policy and Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday 16th September, 2025 6.30 pm

The Young People, Learning and Employment Policy and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss supported internships and the transformation of services for children with disabilities. Councillors reviewed how the council attracts applicants and employers to supported internships and employment opportunities. The committee also scrutinised the proposals to transform services for children with disabilities.

Council - Wednesday 10th September, 2025 7.00 pm

The City of Westminster Council met on 10 September 2025, and began by electing Councillor Hamza Taouzzale as Relief Chair for the meeting. Councillors then heard questions from the public on topics ranging from policing to street lighting, and debated issues including pedestrianisation of Oxford Street, homelessness, and street cleaning. The council also received and noted the Annual Report of Policy and Scrutiny Activity in 2024/25 and the Annual Report of the Audit and Performance Committee 2024/25.

Rating Advisory Panel - Tuesday 9th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Westminster Council Rating Advisory Panel met on Tuesday 9th September 2025. The agenda included discussion of Non-Domestic Rates (NNDR) relief applications, and a recommendation to exclude the public and press from a portion of the meeting.

Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Monday 21st July, 2025 6.30 pm

The Overview and Scrutiny Committee is scheduled to meet to discuss its work programme for the coming year, receive updates from the Leader of the Council and various policy and scrutiny committees, and review the council's emergency preparedness and crime prevention strategies. The committee will also consider and comment on the draft annual report of policy and scrutiny activity in the 2024/25 municipal year.

North West London Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday 17th July, 2025 10.00 am

The North West London Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (NWL JHOSC) convened to discuss several key healthcare issues affecting the region, including maternity provisions, adult mental health services, and the reconfiguration of the Integrated Care Board (ICB). Councillors also planned to review the committee's recommendations tracker and upcoming work programme.
