The Cabinet of Harrow Council approved the appointment of Portfolio Holder Assistants and the payment of Special Responsibility Allowance to them from 11 June 2026. The decision was made by the Cabinet of Harrow Council on 11 June 2026. The council will pay a Special Responsibility Allowance of £4,725 per annum to each appointed Portfolio Holder Assistant.

Harrow Council's Cabinet decided on 11 June 2026 to recommend to Council the approval of the publication of the pre-submission version of the West London Waste Plan for comment. The Cabinet also recommended that delegated authority be given to the Chief Planning Officer to make minor modifications and submit the plan to the Secretary of State. The decision included recommending that the Regulation 19 Proposed Submission version of the West London Waste Plan be used for development management purposes.

Harrow's Cabinet approved the introduction of an Article 4 Direction to remove permitted development rights for converting dwelling houses to small Houses in Multiple Occupation. This decision, made on 11 June 2026, requires planning permission for such conversions. The decision includes making the direction with immediate effect across the entire borough.

Harrow Council's Cabinet decided to approve the extension of the Highways Works Contract with JB Riney beyond March 2027. This decision was made on 11 June 2026. The Cabinet delegated authority to the Strategic Director of Culture, Environment and Economy to agree final terms for the extension, including discounts and service enhancements.

The Cabinet of Harrow Council approved the membership and terms of reference for Cabinet Advisory Panels and Consultative Forums, including the appointment of Chairs and Nominated Members.
