Gloucestershire Police and Crime Panel - Friday 11 July 2025 2.00 pm
The Gloucestershire Police and Crime Panel met on 11 July 2025 to elect a chair and vice-chair for the 2025/2026 civic year, and to review the work plan. The panel was also scheduled to discuss balancing demands on the constabulary, updates from the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), and a report from the OPCC chief executive.

The Constitution Committee met to discuss potential changes to council meeting procedures, including the order of agenda items, handling of public and member questions, and the process for council motions. They agreed to recommend changes to the council regarding the order of items on the agenda for ordinary council meetings, and delegated authority to the Monitoring Officer to bring recommendations to the council on amendments to the constitution regarding public questions and council motions. The committee also recommended reducing the membership of the Environment Scrutiny Committee to nine members.
County Council - Wednesday 21 May 2025 10.00 am
The Gloucestershire County Council meeting on 21 May 2025 included the election of the Chair and Vice-Chair of the council, as well as the election of the Leader of the Council. Councillors were also scheduled to discuss the appointment of independent persons and political assistants. The meeting was also scheduled to include a review of council committees.
