The Gloucestershire Police and Crime Panel was scheduled to discuss a range of topics concerning local policing and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC). Key items on the agenda included an update on local policing efforts, an overview of the Constabulary's technical transformation, and reports from the Police and Crime Commissioner and the Chief Executive of the OPCC.

County Council - Wednesday 12 November 2025 10.00 am

The County Council of Gloucestershire met on Wednesday 12 November 2025, with a significant portion of the meeting dedicated to discussing the future structure of local government in the county. Councillors voted to express a preference for a single unitary authority for the whole of Gloucestershire. The council also debated and passed motions concerning the improvement of highways services, the incorporation of young people's views into decision-making, and the impact of proposed inheritance tax changes on the farming community.

Adult Social Care and Communities Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday 4 November 2025 10.00 am

The Adult Social Care and Communities Scrutiny Committee were scheduled to discuss healthier lifestyles, safeguarding adults, and public health in Gloucestershire. The committee was also expected to review its work plan for the coming year.

Constitution Committee - Monday 13 October 2025 2.00 pm

The Constitution Committee convened to discuss and make recommendations on several key issues, including adopting electronic voting for council meetings, proposed changes to the Health and Wellbeing Board's terms of reference, and a review of the council's approach to motions. The committee agreed to recommend that the council adopt electronic voting and also approved changes to the terms of reference for the Health and Wellbeing Board.
