The Community and Adult Services Scrutiny Committee met on Monday, 19 January 2026, to discuss the proposed purchase of land for new council housing, the Migrant Worker Charter, Disabled Facilities Adaptations, and the current situation with the Responsive Repairs Unit. The Economy & Culture Scrutiny Committee of Cardiff Council are scheduled to meet on 16 December 2025 to discuss the Cardiff Riding School, the Euros 2028, and the Regeneration Strategy. They will also be receiving an update on the Corporate Joint Committee Joint Overview & Scrutiny Committee, and discussing the Place Based Economic Interventions Task & Finish Group Inquiry draft report.

Community & Adult Services Scrutiny Committee - Monday, 15th December, 2025 4.30 pm

The Community & Adult Services Scrutiny Committee are scheduled to discuss the Neurodivergent Cardiff Strategy, council housing rent and service charges, and changes to the council's allocation policy at their meeting on 15 December. The committee, chaired by Councillor Bablin Molik, will also review the minutes of their previous meeting. As this is a scrutiny committee, any comments, observations and concerns will be passed on to the relevant Cabinet Member by Councillor Bablin Molik.

Glamorgan Archives Joint Committee - Friday, 12th December, 2025 2.00 pm

The Glamorgan Archives Joint Committee were scheduled to meet on 12 December 2025 to discuss the Glamorgan Archivist's report, the proposed strategic plan, budget proposals, and proposed fees and charges. The committee was also scheduled to review the month 7 monitoring report and the medium term financial plan.

Council - Thursday, 27th November, 2025 4.30 pm

The Cardiff Council met on 27 November 2025, and approved sending the Replacement Local Development Plan to the Welsh Government for independent examination. Councillors also agreed to launch a public consultation on introducing a visitor levy in the city.
