The meeting unanimously resolved to grant planning permission for applications on two sites at 81-88 Beresford Street. The sites are part of the large Royal Arsenal Riverside development. The first application was to extend an existing student accommodation block. The second was to convert existing offices into a new student accommodation block and a hotel.
Licensing Sub-Committee C - Tuesday, 21st January, 2025 10.30 am
The meeting was scheduled to discuss an objection to a temporary events notice submitted by The Calabash Restaurant & Bar, 1-2 Stockwell Street, London, SE10 9JN. Councillors were also scheduled to note the details of which outside bodies Councillors are members of.
Licensing Sub-Committee C - Friday, 3rd January, 2025 10.30 am
The Licensing Sub-Committee C of the Royal Borough of Greenwich met on Friday 3 January 2025 and approved both of the applications that were considered. The meeting saw the application for a new off-licence at 112 Westmount Road, Eltham approved with conditions, despite concerns raised by local residents. The meeting also saw the application for a new premises licence for the refurbished Borough Hall, Royal Hill, Greenwich approved, after the applicant, agreed to restrict the hours for licensable activities to 11pm, except on Saturdays, when licensable activities would be permitted until 1am.
Planning Board - Tuesday, 10th December, 2024 6.30 pm
The meeting discussed three planning applications, resulting in the approval of reserved matters for a development at the Royal Arsenal, a new SEND school in Eltham, and the removal of affordable housing from a development in Charlton.
