Schools Forum - Thursday 11th December, 2025 1.00 pm
The North Northamptonshire Schools Forum is scheduled to meet on 11 December 2025 to discuss a range of financial and policy issues affecting schools in the area. Councillor Mark Arnull was appointed as Co-Chair for West Northamptonshire Council. The committee also addressed the Northamptonshire Children's Trust's financial forecast for 2025/26, and approved the Northamptonshire Youth Justice Plan 2025/26.
Executive - Tuesday 11th November, 2025 10.00 am
The North Northamptonshire Council Executive met to discuss a range of issues, including the adoption of the Corporate Plan 2025-2029, the financial performance of the council, and a new policy for adult social care direct payments. They approved the Great Addington Neighbourhood Plan, and also approved going out to procurement for the electoral services printing and mailing contract. The Executive also agreed to introduce a premium for long term empty properties and second homes to encourage owners to bring properties back into use more quickly to address housing shortages.

Capital Programme Update 2025/26

...to update the 2025/26 Capital Programme, the Executive approved changes to the program including the addition of funding for Local Transport Grant, Active Travel Fund 5, and Consolidated Active Travel Fund, and the removal of the Integrated Transport Block budget, while also noting other changes, drawdowns, and material items considered by the Strategic Capital Board.
