The annual meeting of the Borough Council of the London Borough of Hounslow was scheduled to include the election of a new Mayor and the appointment of a Deputy Mayor, as well as the establishment of and appointments to various council bodies and outside organisations. Also on the agenda was a request to waive the six-month rule for Councillor Sukhbir Singh Dhaliwal due to ill health.

The meeting was scheduled to include a presentation on the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy, a review of the action tracker, and an open forum for questions from the public.

The meeting approved the council’s budget for 2025-26 and appointed an interim chief executive. It also discussed the Council Tax Support Scheme and a petition presented by a Councillor asking the council to rethink its policy of dimming streetlights.
