Housing Supervisory Board - Thursday, 27th November, 2025 2.00 pm

The Housing Supervisory Board is scheduled to meet on 27 November 2025. There will also be an opportunity for public and member questions.

Northern Planning Committee - Tuesday, 18th November, 2025 2.00 pm

The Northern Planning Committee of Shropshire Council met on 18 November 2025 to discuss several planning applications, including a proposal for 100 new dwellings in Market Drayton, the conversion of a property in Oswestry into a house in multiple occupation, and an extension to the Shrewsbury Sports Village. The committee was also scheduled to review recent appeal decisions.

Strategic Licensing Committee - Wednesday, 8th October, 2025 10.00 am

The Strategic Licensing Committee of Shropshire Council met on 8 October 2025 to discuss licensing fees and charges for 2026-2027, and to review the exercise of delegated powers. The meeting was scheduled to cover a range of topics, including statutory fees for various licenses, discretionary fees for activities like gambling and animal-related services, and the implementation of a Relevant Protected Site fees policy. The committee was also expected to review licenses issued and variations made between June and August 2025.

Council - Thursday, 25th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Shropshire Council meeting on 25 September 2025 was scheduled to cover a range of topics, including the SEND and AP Strategy 2025 – 2029 and Outcomes Framework, the Children's Social Care Ofsted Report and Next Steps, and proposed improvements to Bishop's Castle Arts and Leisure Centre. The council was also scheduled to discuss motions relating to carers, councillor allowances and fraud investigation.

Pensions Committee - Friday, 19th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Pensions Committee for Shropshire Council convened to discuss the internal audit outturn, the external audit findings, the pension fund annual accounts, corporate governance monitoring, and pensions administration monitoring. The meeting was scheduled to take place at The Council Chamber, The Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury, SY3 8HQ. Due to limited space, members of the press and public were encouraged to check availability beforehand. The meeting was also scheduled to be available via livestream on the Shropshire Council YouTube channel.
