Non Cabinet Members' Debate

The Council decided on 18/09/2023 to agree a motion regarding RAAC in Brent schools. The Council resolved to request the Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Schools write to the Secretary of State for Education seeking additional funding for RAAC-affected buildings and to pledge support for St Gregory’s Catholic Science College. The Council also resolved to expedite planning permissions for temporary classrooms and monitor schools for unsafe materials.
