Schools Forum - Thursday, 26 February 2026 - 6.00 pm

The Schools Forum meeting scheduled for Thursday 26 February 2026 was set to discuss the financial allocations for the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) for the 2026-27 academic year, with a particular focus on the High Needs Block (HNB) and the Early Years (EY) Block. A significant portion of the discussion was also dedicated to the ongoing deficit management plan for the HNB, addressing the growing financial pressures within the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) system.

Council - Monday, 23 February 2026 - 3.30 pm

The Council of Brent met on Monday 23 February 2026 to discuss the borough's budget and council tax for the upcoming financial year, 2026-27. Attendees were also scheduled to review the external auditor's annual report on the council's value for money, a mid-year report on treasury management activities, and the annual review of the Members' Allowance Scheme.

The Cabinet of Brent Council met on Monday 09 February 2026 to discuss a range of important issues, including the council's budget proposals for 2026-27, the disposal of council-owned commercial properties, and the adoption of a new cultural strategy for the borough. The meeting also covered plans for ICT infrastructure investment, the provision of supported accommodation for adults with mental health difficulties, and the authority to invite tenders for care and support at six supported living sites.

Corporate Parenting Committee - Monday, 2 February 2026 - 5.30 pm

Health and Wellbeing Board - Thursday, 29 January 2026 - 6.00 pm

The Health and Wellbeing Board of Brent Council was scheduled to discuss a range of topics aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of residents. Key agenda items included an overview of inequalities and actions to tackle them, the Public Health Annual Report, and an update on the Brent Health Matters programme. The Board was also set to review progress on working together in neighbourhoods.
