The Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority - Greater Lincolnshire Business and Infrastructure Board met on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, approving the Save Steel, Buy British pledge, endorsing a plan to submit an Expression of Interest for the Local Innovation Partnerships Fund, and endorsing plans for future business engagement events following a review of the Great Exhibition 2025.

Executive - Tuesday, 6th January, 2026 10.30 am

The Executive of Lincolnshire Council met on Tuesday, 6 January 2026, to discuss and approve several key items, including the council's budget for 2026/27, the North Hykeham Relief Road project, the capital repairs and maintenance programme, and the Adult Social Care Strategy. A significant decision was made to approve the initial proposals for the 2026/27 council budget, which includes an assumed 4.99% council tax increase, subject to further consultation and scrutiny. The Executive also approved the progression of the North Hykeham Relief Road to construction, pending final confirmation from the Department for Transport.

The Lincolnshire Police and Crime Panel is scheduled to meet on 12 December 2025 to discuss the delivery of the Police and Crime Plan, complaints against the Police and Crime Commissioner, and the Panel's work programme for the coming year. The meeting will also include updates from the chair and a verbal report from the National Association of Police, Fire and Crime Panels.
