Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority - Wednesday, 10th December, 2025 2.00 pm

The Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority (GLCCA) Board met on 10 December 2025, and approved the content of the Greater Lincolnshire Plan, priorities and funding rules for the Adult Skills Fund, the draft 2026/27 budget and Medium Term Financial Plan, proposed amendments to the Authority's Constitution, and the appointment of an Interim Monitoring Officer and Interim Statutory Scrutiny Officer. The board also agreed to write to the government to request assistance with election costs for the Mayoral election.

Highways and Transport Scrutiny Committee - Monday, 8th December, 2025 10.00 am

The Highways and Transport Scrutiny Committee are scheduled to meet to discuss the North Hykeham Relief Road, strategic route surfacing procurement, and a revision to the definitive map modification order prioritisation policy. The committee will also be considering performance reports for road safety, and reviewing their work programme.

The Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority convened to establish an Appointments Panel for Chief Officer recruitment, and to agree its terms of reference and appoint members to the panel. The recommendations were approved, enabling the Authority to move forward with the recruitment process for key leadership positions.

The Greater Lincolnshire Transport Board convened to discuss and make decisions on several key transport initiatives for the region. The board approved recommendations for the Greater Lincolnshire Local Transport Plan, the Greater Lincolnshire Local Transport Authority Transition Programme, the Rural Transport Group, Transport for Greater Lincolnshire Terms of Reference, and Local Transport Funding. The meeting addressed strategic objectives, funding allocations, and collaborative efforts to enhance transport infrastructure and services across Greater Lincolnshire.
