To seek cabinet approval of an interim plan, in conjunction with other East Sussex districts and boroughs, and East Sussex County Council, for submission to Central Government regarding proposals for Local Government Reorganisation in East Sussex. To seek agreement of cabinet to continue to progress, working other relevant authorities, to develop a full proposal for a single tier authority for submission to Central Government by 26 September 2025.

Cabinet decision required to give authority to publish the HMO SPD for public consultation in accordance with Regulation 13 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012.
