The Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider three applications for new and varied premises licenses, for Bulabar at 7 Frying Pan Alley, House of Music and Entertainment at 20 Commercial Street, and Gopuff at 60 Hemming Street. The committee approved the applications by Bulabar and House of Music and Entertainment, and adjourned the application by Gopuff to allow for further submissions from the applicant and objectors.

Licensing Sub Committee - Thursday, 18th July, 2024 6.30 p.m.

The Licensing Subcommittee granted the application for a new premises licence for the Carwash site on 1 Quaker Street, London E1 6SZ, with conditions, and denied the application for a new premises licence for Fabwick, Unit 4a Queens Yard, 43 White Post Lane, London, E9 5EN.

Licensing Committee - Thursday, 13th June, 2024 7.15 p.m.

The Licensing Committee of Tower Hamlets Council convened on Thursday 13 June 2024 to discuss several key issues, including the election of the Vice Chair, the establishment of licensing subcommittees, and the annual review of the late night levy. Councillor Shubo Hussain was elected as the Vice Chair, and the committee approved the terms of reference and meeting dates for the licensing subcommittees. The annual review of the late night levy highlighted its financial impact and the initiatives funded by it.

The Licensing Sub-Committee of Tower Hamlets Council met on Tuesday 14 February 2023 to consider a new premises licence application for Oval Studio, located at 29-32 The Oval, London E2 9DT. The committee heard representations from the applicant, responsible authorities, and local residents, ultimately deciding to grant the licence with a number of conditions. The meeting also addressed the extension of decision deadlines for several other licensing applications.
