Opt in to ESPO - Technology Enabled Care Products and Services

This report seeks approval to formally opt into the ESPO Framework Agreement ‘Technology Enabled Care Products and Services’ (Ref: 203_25), which provides a compliant and efficient route to market for the ongoing procurement of telecare equipment and service requirements. It also requests that delegated authority be granted to the Director of Adult Social Care & Prevention, within the Adult Social Care and Prevention Directorate, to award any future call-off contracts under this framework.

Major International Event Investment

Newcastle City Council have submitted key information to form a bid for Newcastle to be a host city for a key international event. The council will need to make a financial commitment towards the cost of the host city requirements.   In order to proceed we must also sign a host city agreement. A decision is required to make the financial commitment and sign the host city agreement following approvals from legal services.
