The Cabinet of Tower Hamlets Council made a number of decisions at its meeting, including approving the continuation of business rates pooling arrangements with seven other London Boroughs, the adoption of a new Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy, and a new Substance Misuse Strategy. The Cabinet also approved plans to create a new nursery at Stepney Greencoat CE Primary School[^2] and to make a £1.5 million investment in leisure facilities across the borough. The Cabinet agreed to defer a decision on an application from The Roman Road Neighbourhood Forum to formally designate the area as a neighbourhood planning area.
King George's Field Charity Board - Wednesday, 6th November, 2024 6.00 p.m.
The King George's Field Charity Board approved the 2022/23 audited accounts for submission to the Charity Commission. They also approved proposals for spending a grant from the King George's Fields Stepney Charity, and noted updates on a number of leases of commercial properties in Mile End Park.

The Cabinet agreed and noted the recommendations on all agenda items, including a £1.93m funding increase for the borough's homelessness services, a further £3.65m investment in the newly insourced leisure service and an extension to AEG Presents' licence to occupy Victoria Park until September 2027.
