The North Northamptonshire Health and Wellbeing Board met to discuss a range of issues, including an overview of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy, an update on the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Priority Plan, the Better Care Fund End of Year Performance Report, a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, a Dental Commissioning Plan, the Family Drug and Alcohol Court, and North Northants Healthwatch.

At the annual meeting of North Northamptonshire Council, Councillor Helen Campbell was elected as Chair of the Council, and Councillor Maurice Eglin was appointed as Vice-Chair. Councillors also noted the election results from 1 May, which saw Reform UK gain a majority on the council, and they approved committee memberships and appointments to outside bodies.

This meeting was to consider a variety of reports about the health and wellbeing of the people of North Northamptonshire. The meeting was scheduled to include the adoption of the new North Northamptonshire Health and Wellbeing Strategy and consider the progress that has been made on each of its 5 key priorities: Smoking and Vaping, Keeping Active, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Children and Young People, and Financial Resilience. The meeting was also scheduled to consider a report about the Better Care Fund, and receive the annual reports of the Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board and the Director of Public Health, Jane Bethea.
