The General Purposes Committee of Aldermen met on 15 July 2025 to elect a chair and deputy chair, and to discuss support for UK-based financial and professional services. The Court of Aldermen for the City of London Council were scheduled to meet on 15 July 2025. The Court of Aldermen for the City of London Council convened for a special meeting to formalise the grant of Livery to the Worshipful Company of Entrepreneurs. The meeting was scheduled to include a formal presentation of Letters Patent to the Company.

The Planning and Transportation Committee were scheduled to discuss improvements to Leadenhall Street, and the Bunhill, Barbican & Golden Lane Healthy Neighbourhood Plan, as well as consider a resolution from the Ward of Cripplegate.

Planning Applications Sub-Committee - Tuesday, 8th July, 2025 10.30 am

The Planning Applications Sub-Committee for the City of London Corporation met on 8 July 2025 to discuss several planning applications, including major developments at 63 St Mary Axe and 85 Gracechurch Street. The committee was also scheduled to review minutes from a previous meeting and consider valid planning applications and delegated decisions made by the Chief Planning Officer and Development Director.
