The Barnet Council Planning Committee met on 12 May 2025, to discuss several planning applications. The committee approved an application for the demolition of garage blocks and construction of flats at Anastasia Mews, and another for the demolition of a dwelling and erection of flats at 88 West Heath Road. They refused an application for extensions to a dwelling at 34 Tenterden Gardens. Two applications relating to the rear of 39 Alexandra Road were deferred for a formal decision at the next meeting.

The Planning Committee approved applications for developments at White Ways, 35 Hoop Lane and 1 Winterworth Road, 26 Abbots Gardens and David Lloyd Leisure Centre. Councillors refused an application for 7 Gloucester Gardens after a tied vote, with Councillor Claire Farrier, Chair of the Planning Committee using her casting vote.

The committee considered 8 applications, approving 6 and refusing 1. Item 11 on the agenda, Whiteways, Hillview Gardens, was deferred to the next meeting.

The committee approved three applications and refused one. They also deferred decisions on three applications, and a further two applications were withdrawn prior to the meeting.

The meeting considered four planning applications. The committee voted to grant planning permission for all of the applications with the exception of 112D Park Road, Barnet, which was deferred to allow for additional objections and conditions to be made.
