Health and Wellbeing Board - Wednesday 9 July 2025 1.30 pm

Councillor Anne-Marie Sonko, Portfolio Holder for Adult Social Care and Health, chaired the Health and Wellbeing Board meeting, which included discussions on system discharge pathways, the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA), and the development of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2026-31. The board also received updates on the Warwickshire Safeguarding Adults Board and the Warwickshire Safeguarding Children's Partnership, as well as the Health and Wellbeing Board Executive Group. The board agreed to support public engagement for the Health and Wellbeing Strategy and endorsed the direction of travel for the JSNA work programme.

Adult Social Care and Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Wednesday 25 June 2025 11.30 am

The Adult Social Care and Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss the implementation of the Right Care, Right Person scheme[^1], review the year-end integrated performance, and consider customer feedback on adult social care. The committee endorsed the principles of effective overview and scrutiny and discussed future agenda items, including mental health services and hospital updates.

Dispensations Sub Committee - Friday 16 May 2025 11.45 am

The Dispensations Sub-Committee met to consider and approve a series of dispensations for councillors related to disclosable pecuniary interests[^2]. These dispensations aim to prevent inadvertent breaches of regulations and ensure the council can conduct its business effectively. The committee voted to grant all four recommended dispensations.

Annual Council, County Council - Friday 16 May 2025 10.00 am

At the annual general meeting of Warwickshire County Council, Councillor Edward Harris was elected as chair, Councillor Dale Keeling was elected as vice-chair, and Councillor Rob Howard was appointed as leader of the council. Councillors also approved appointments to committees and other bodies, received the annual report on the use of urgency and call-in procedures, reviewed the overview and scrutiny annual report, and approved amendments to contract standing orders.
