The Redbridge Council Education Scrutiny Sub-Committee met to discuss the council's SEND and Alternative Provision Priority Action Plan, trauma-informed practices in schools, emotional school avoidance, and Key Stage 5 results. The Education Scrutiny Sub-Committee of Redbridge Council convened on 24 June 2024 to discuss the issue of young people in Years 12 and 13 who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET). The committee reviewed a comprehensive report on the subject and decided to implement targeted intervention programmes to address the issue.
