Environment & Sustainability Supplementary Directorate Procurement Plan
From: Infrastructure Services Committee - Thursday, 3rd October, 2024 10.15 am - October 03, 2024
Approval of a Supplementary Procurement Plan to be added to the Environment & Infrastructure Services Directorate Annual Procurement Plan. The supplementary procurement plan relates to procuring and appointing a consultant to undertake a feasibility study on what would be required to make the sections of the Formartine & Buchan Way between Maud and Peterhead and Maud and Fraserburgh part of the National Cycle Network (NCN). This will be funded by the Sustrans network development fund. Earlier this year, Sustrans advised the Council that they intended to carry out the feasibility study in house. However, due to a reduction in capacity within their staffing resource, it was asked if Aberdeenshire Council could now lead and manage the project including procuring and appointing the preferred consultant.
