...to update members on the financial position of the Council and ensure that the Authority complies with its financial regulations, the Cabinet noted the forecast outturn position for 2025-26 and associated risks, the deliverability assessment of savings, the Treasury Management update, and delegated authority to the Executive Director, Finance to apply budget virements.

...to ensure uninterrupted insurance coverage and protection, they approved a 12-month extension of existing insurance policies to March 31, 2027, the disaggregation of specific insurances for separate procurement effective April 1, 2026, and the tendering of extended insurance contracts to take effect from April 1, 2027.

...to recommend to the Council a Local Council Tax Reduction Scheme for 2026-2027 with no changes from the previous year.

... to renew the Public Spaces Protection Order (Dog Control and Prohibition of Smoking in Public Places) across the West Northamptonshire Council administrative area until October 2028, and to vary it to include a new requirement that dogs must be on leads at all times at a defined lakeside area of St James Park, Brackley and Unit 1 Gravel Pits.

...the Cabinet noted the content of the One West Northamptonshire Plan – Performance Report Q1 2025-26, which provided an overview of the council's performance metrics against its priorities for the period of April to the end of June 2025.
