The Merton Council Cabinet met on Monday 17 July 2023, where they discussed and approved a 15% increase in Building Control fees, launched a new Community Climate Action Fund alongside the Merton Civic Pride Fund, and agreed to adopt a new Private Sector Housing Assistance Policy. The meeting also saw the endorsement of a modernised approach to resident engagement and the commencement of a consultation on a draft Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
