Housing Fire and Building Safety Panel - Thursday, 23rd October, 2025 6.30 pm

The Camden Council Housing Fire and Building Safety Panel met on 23 October 2025, and approved the minutes from their previous meeting. The panel discussed the Fire and Building Safety Charter Annual Report, Residential Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans, the Commercial Property Fire Compartmentation Remedial Works Programme, and the Q1 Performance on Compliance report. They also reviewed the panel's work programme and action tracker.

Audit and Corporate Governance (Appointment Panel) Sub-Committee - Tuesday, 14th October, 2025 1.30 pm

The Audit and Corporate Governance (Appointment Panel) Sub-Committee met to discuss the appointment of a new Executive Director Homes and Communities. The Sub-Committee was scheduled to note the appointment process, job details and progress made to date, interview candidates, and potentially recommend a candidate for the role. Councillors were asked to consider advice within the Executive Director Homes and Communities Final Member Panel Report and could seek further advice during the meeting.

The Gospel Oak District Management Committee [^1] was scheduled to meet on 11 September 2025, to discuss preparations for Awaab's Law [^2], Camden's environment services, and the Gospel Oak DMC budget. The committee was also scheduled to discuss tenant and resident association registrations, and to receive updates on tenant engagement and the neighbourhood structure.

The Council of Camden Council scheduled a meeting for 21 July 2025, where they were expected to discuss a range of topics, including amendments to motions, cultural investments, homelessness, and the adoption of the Hampstead Neighbourhood Plan. The meeting was also scheduled to include a statement by the Leader of the Council, Councillor Richard Olszewski, and a question and answer session with cabinet members.

The Camden Council Housing Scrutiny Committee met on 15 July 2025, and discussed topics including tenant satisfaction, homelessness strategy, and housing investment. The committee reviewed reports, proposed changes to the work programme, and agreed to monitor action items from previous meetings.
