About

The Camden Disability Oversight Panel, comprised of appointed Equality Champions, meets up to three times a year to discuss key issues affecting disabled residents. It hears directly from service users and experts, and supports councillors in their roles. The panel identifies issues and areas for exploration to inform the work of the Council's formal scrutiny committees, ensuring disabled residents' experiences are considered in decision-making and policy oversight. It also makes recommendations to other parts of the Council regarding issues impacting disabled residents and reviews its own progress.
