Housing Fire and Building Safety Panel - Thursday, 10th July, 2025 6.30 pm

The Camden Council Housing Fire and Building Safety Panel met to discuss updates to their terms of reference in light of the Grenfell Inquiry Phase 2 recommendations, resident training programmes, compliance performance, and future work plans. The panel agreed to recommend updates to their terms of reference to the Leader of the Council, and they noted reports on resident training, compliance, and the forward plan.

Disability Oversight Panel - Tuesday, 24th June, 2025 5.00 pm

The Disability Oversight Panel was scheduled to meet to note the terms of reference of the panel, and to receive an update on the Disability Job Hub.

Gospel Oak District Management Committee - Thursday, 19th June, 2025 6.30 pm

The Gospel Oak District Management Committee (DMC) met on 19 June 2025 to discuss a range of issues, including community safety, the DMC budget, and tree management. The committee was also scheduled to elect a new chair and vice-chairs, and to discuss the DMC's constitution and code of conduct. Additionally, the committee was expected to receive updates on tenant engagement and property services.

Extraordinary meeting, Council - Thursday, 22nd May, 2025 7.00 pm

The Council of Camden was scheduled to meet to approve the appointment of a new Chief Executive, who also serves as the Head of Paid Service, Returning Officer, and Electoral Registration Officer. The report pack includes a report from the outgoing Chief Executive, Jenny Rowlands, detailing the recruitment process and recommending the appointment of Jon Rowney. The report also asks the council to approve the starting salary for the role.

Council - Wednesday, 14th May, 2025 7.00 pm

The Council of Camden Council met on 14 May 2025. The agenda included the election of the Mayor and appointment of the Deputy Mayor, as well as the establishment of council bodies and appointment of members to those bodies. Councillors were also scheduled to discuss the appointment of members to committees, sub-committees, and other bodies within the council's constitution for the upcoming municipal year.
