The current 10-year Grounds Maintenance (GM) contract with Tivoli expires on 31 October 2025. In order that the Council can replace this contract in a timely manner, work has taken place to assess the Council’s option with regards to ether securing a new partner or extending the current contract by one year. Alongside this work, an assessment of potential cost reduction approaches regarding the current specification have been undertaken in order to reduce the expected increase in cost for a contract that a future procurement exercise will require.
