Oxfordshire County Council was scheduled to hold its annual meeting on 20 May 2025, to elect a chair and vice-chair, review committee appointments and political balance, and to consider various reports and constitutional matters. The meeting was also scheduled to cover the scheme of delegation to officers and general dispensations under the Localism Act 2011[^1].

The Oxfordshire Council Remuneration Committee convened on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, to elect the chair and deputy chair for the upcoming 2025/26 council year. Councillor Liz Leffman was elected as Chair, and Councillor Neil Fawcett was elected as Deputy Chair.
