Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee - Tuesday 9 December 2025 7:30 pm

The Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee met to discuss community safety, neighbourhood ranger activity, and a cycle route on Ewell Road. The committee received an update on community safety work in the last six months, and plans for the next six. A decision on the Ewell Road cycle route was deferred.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Tuesday 2 December 2025 11:00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee is scheduled to convene to review the premises licence for Kingston International Market, following an application from the Metropolitan Police. The review is based on concerns regarding the protection of children from harm, specifically related to underage sales of alcohol. The sub-committee will consider taking steps such as modifying the licence conditions, suspending the licence, or revoking it.

Health Overview and Scrutiny Panel - Tuesday 2 December 2025 7:30 pm

The Health Overview and Scrutiny Panel of Kingston upon Thames Council met on Tuesday 2 December 2025 to discuss the National 10 Year Health Plan, the move towards Neighbourhood Health, and to receive a verbal update on public health matters in the borough. The panel was also scheduled to receive a verbal update on the Mental Health Act, and to consider the minutes of their previous meeting.

The Standards Sub-Committee met on 12 November 2025, where Councillor Lynn Henderson was elected as Chair for the meeting, and the minutes of the previous meeting held on 30 September 2025 were approved. Councillor Jamal Chohan abstained from the vote on the minutes, as he had not been present at the previous meeting.
