The Council of Lincolnshire Council met on Friday 20 February 2026 to approve the budget for the upcoming financial year and to adopt a new Council Plan. The meeting also saw the approval of the Pay Policy Statement and the Members' Allowances Scheme.

Environment Scrutiny Committee - Friday, 13 February 2026 - 10.00 am

The Environment Scrutiny Committee met on Friday 13 February 2026 to discuss the Humber 2100+ flood risk management strategy, a new Environment Policy, and performance reporting for waste and flooding services. The committee acknowledged the progress on the Humber 2100+ programme and recommended continued support for the initiative. They also supported the proposed new Environment Policy, with a summary of their comments to be passed to the Executive. Performance in waste management was noted as below target for recycling rates, though household waste collected per household was below target, which was viewed positively. Flood investigation reports were all completed within the six-month target.

Planning and Regulation Committee - Monday, 9 February 2026 - 10.30 am

The Planning and Regulation Committee of Lincolnshire Council met on Monday 09 February 2026 to discuss a range of planning applications and traffic management proposals. Key items on the agenda included a significant county matter application for sand and gravel extraction at Thetford House Farm, Baston, and a Development Consent Order application for a large solar photovoltaic electricity generating facility at Navenby. The committee also reviewed several proposed waiting restrictions in various locations across the county and a proposed 50mph speed limit extension in Spalding.

Overview and Scrutiny Management Board - Thursday, 29th January, 2026 10.00 am

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Board was scheduled to discuss the Council's budget for the upcoming financial year, 2026/27, including proposals for service revenue and capital budgets. The Board was also set to review the draft Council Plan, which outlines the Council's priorities for the next five years, and receive an update on the transition of IT services. Additionally, the Board was to be informed of the work programmes of various scrutiny committees and its own work programme for the year ahead.

Pensions Committee - Thursday, 22nd January, 2026 10.00 am

The Pensions Committee of Lincolnshire Council met on Thursday 22 January 2026 to review the performance and administration of the Lincolnshire Pension Fund. Discussions were scheduled to cover the fund's financial performance, operational efficiency, risk management, data quality, and the work of the Pension Board.
