The Westminster Council Licensing Sub-Committee (2) convened on 13 November 2025, addressing licensing applications for several establishments. A new premises licence was granted for 14-15 Eccleston Yard, while a variation to an existing premises licence was approved for Jaks at 43 South Molton Street. A temporary event notice for Convenience 65 at 47 Aldwych was rejected due to concerns from the Metropolitan Police and Environmental Health.

Westminster City Council met on Wednesday 12 November 2025, and approved the programme of meetings for 2026/2027, and a constitutional update relating to the delegation of functions under the London Squares Preservation Act 1931. Councillors also debated and approved a motion standing united against the rise of the far right and in support of inclusive communities.

Pension Fund Committee - Wednesday 5th November, 2025 5.00 pm

The Pension Fund Committee of Westminster Council met on Wednesday 05 November 2025 to discuss an impact investment opportunity for temporary accommodation and to consider changes to the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). The committee decided to approve the pension fund's participation in an impact investment opportunity for temporary accommodation, and also agreed to respond to a government consultation on LGPS scheme improvements.

The Licensing Sub-Committee (6) of Westminster Council scheduled a meeting to discuss licensing applications for two venues: Iran Restaurant and The Box.
