This meeting was scheduled to include a decision on the procurement of a fit-out contractor for the new St James Health Hub. This follows approval of the project in 2019, and the completion of the building's shell and core in December 2022.

This meeting was scheduled to include the consideration of a report on the procurement of a contractor to fit out the new St James Health Hub at the Jazz Yard development in St James Street, Walthamstow.

Planning Committee

Planning Committee - Tuesday, 5th November, 2024 7.00 pm

The meeting decided on four planning applications, granting permission for all of them. Three of the applications were for new residential developments, and in each case the Committee decided that a Section 106 agreement was needed in order to provide funds for the council to mitigate the impact of the developments, such as by improving local infrastructure or the provision of affordable housing. One application was for new sports facilities, and this was approved without the need for a Section 106 agreement.

This Executive Decision meeting of Waltham Forest Council considered the dates for school terms and holidays for the borough's schools for the academic years beginning in 2025 and 2026.
