...to ensure political balance, the council approved proportionality rules, noted political group appointments to the governance structure, received nominations and made appointments for chairs and vice chairs, noted the Monitoring Officer's delegated authority for in-year committee membership changes, delegated authority to the Monitoring Officer to commence recruitment for independent positions, and delegated authority to the Monitoring Officer to update the Constitution to reflect these changes.
