Employment Subcommittee - Friday 17th October, 2025 9.00 am

The Employment Subcommittee of North Northamptonshire Council met on Friday 17 October 2025. The main item on the agenda was to conduct interviews for the role of Director of Transformation & Strategy and select a candidate for appointment. Executive - Tuesday 14th October, 2025 10.00 am

The North Northamptonshire Council Executive met to discuss a range of issues, including housing, transport and leisure. Key decisions included approving a consultation on changes to the Keyways Housing Allocation Scheme, and adopting the North Northamptonshire Statement of Community Involvement.

Children's Trust Joint Committee - Thursday 25th September, 2025 2.00 pm

The Children's Trust Joint Committee is scheduled to meet to discuss the Northamptonshire Youth Justice Plan, the Northamptonshire Children's Trust's contract sum outturn and savings for 2024/25, and the forecast position and savings for 2025/26. The meeting will be held in the Jeffrey Room, The Guildhall, St Giles Square, Northampton.

Executive - Tuesday 9th September, 2025 10.00 am

The North Northamptonshire Council Executive met to discuss a range of issues, including approving a revised carbon neutral target of 2050, implementing traffic enforcement measures, and procuring a framework contract for local bus services. They also approved a new Anti-Social Behaviour Policy and made decisions relating to the council's insurance program and the Education Improvement Framework.

Council - Wednesday 3rd September, 2025 6.00 pm

At a meeting on 3 September 2025, North Northamptonshire Council discussed a range of issues, including public health, the appointment of independent persons, and political balance on council committees. Councillors approved the Director of Public Health’s annual report, the establishment of an Independent Remuneration Panel, and a scheme for the enrolment of Honorary Aldermen and Alderwomen. They also voted on several motions, approving those related to planning committees and business rates, while rejecting motions concerning a planning issue in Loddington/Cransley, service harmonisation and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
