Organisation and Communities Scrutiny Panel - Thursday, 31st October, 2024 6.30 pm
The meeting received an update on the performance of Legal and HR services, and discussed the commissioning of reports for its next meeting. The Panel agreed to invite the Leader of the Council, Councillor Danny Thorpe, to provide an update on the Community Engagement Framework.
Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Wednesday, 30th October, 2024 6.30 pm
This meeting of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee included discussion of the Council's progress on delivering the Equality and Equity Action Plan, as well as a quarterly update on predicted budget savings for 2024/25. The Committee were also asked to note the details of the upcoming Forward Plan, which included a number of upcoming decisions to be made by the Council in the coming months, and were also asked to consider commissioning a report on the progress of the Council’s Carbon Neutral Plan for the meeting on 28 November 2024.

General Purposes Committee - Wednesday, 30th October, 2024 5.00 pm
The committee approved the appointment of Councillor Charlie Davis to various scrutiny panels and sub-committees, and the nomination of Councillor Sarah-Jane Merrill to Woodlands Farm Trust. The committee also approved the salary ranges for three chief officer posts and the adoption of a new suite of policies about the use of data and technology in the council. Finally the committee agreed to continue the use of market supplement allowances to support the recruitment and retention of digital, data and technology staff.
Transport and Place Scrutiny Panel - Thursday, 3rd October, 2024 6.30 pm
This meeting of the Transport and Place Scrutiny Panel was scheduled to include an update on the risks of flooding in Greenwich, a report on the progress of the new Local Plan, and a summary of the performance of the planning service. It was also scheduled to note a series of reports that are due to be presented to the Panel at its meeting on 20 November 2024.
