Health and Adult Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Wednesday, 2nd July, 2025 10.00 am
The Health and Adult Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee were scheduled to discuss proposed changes to Integrated Care Boards, and the co-option of a representative from Healthwatch Cornwall. The committee was also due to receive updates from the Portfolio Holder for Adult Social Care and Partnerships and the Portfolio Holder for Community Safety and Public Health. Finally, they were scheduled to answer questions from the public.
Strategic Planning Committee - Thursday, 12th June, 2025 10.00 am
The Strategic Planning Committee of Cornwall Council met on 12 June 2025, and elected Councillor Chris Batters as Chairman and Councillor James Ball as Vice-Chairman. The committee then discussed an application to repower and extend the Cold Northcott Wind Farm, delegating authority to the Chief Planning Officer to approve the application, subject to conditions. Finally, the committee noted a list of recent planning appeal decisions.

The Constitution and Governance Committee of Cornwall Council met on 10 June 2025, and elected Councillor Dick Cole as Chairman and Councillor Jordan Rowse as Vice-Chairman. The committee approved the minutes of the meeting held on 6 March 2025, the Committee Work Programme for 2025-2026, and noted a report on the council's governance review.
East Sub-Area Planning Committee - Monday, 9th June, 2025 10.00 am
The East Sub-Area Planning Committee met to discuss three planning applications and an appeals report. Permission was granted for a slurry lagoon near Hatt, Saltash, and for outline planning permission for 30 dwellings in Bude, subject to conditions and Section 106 agreements[^1]. Permission in principle was granted for 5 dwellings in Marhamchurch.
