The cabinet also discussed and approved a finance update, a performance and risk report, and an update on the Plan for Neighbourhoods.

Boston Council's meeting on 21 July 2025 saw Councillor Dale Broughton elected as the new leader of the council following a motion to remove Councillor Anne Dorrian from the position, and the approval of budget adjustments for the capital programme.
