Extraordinary Meeting, Council - Friday, 21st November, 2025 10.30 am
The Council of Lincolnshire Council convened for an extraordinary meeting on Friday, 21 November 2025, to discuss significant proposals regarding the future structure of local government in Lincolnshire and the appointment of a new Chief Executive. The meeting's agenda focused on a comprehensive business case for Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) within the county, titled 'Your Lincolnshire Proposal', and the subsequent appointment to the crucial post of Chief Executive.
Audit Committee - Monday, 17th November, 2025 10.00 am
The Audit Committee of Lincolnshire Council was scheduled to review the council's high needs system for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and alternative provision, receive an update on the audit of the 2024/25 accounts for both the council and the Lincolnshire Pension Fund, and discuss proposed audit fees for 2025/26. The committee was also set to review the risk management progress report, consider proposed amendments to the council's Financial Regulations and the budget definition within its Constitution, and review its work programme.

The Audit Committee met to discuss the external audit and annual finance statement, strategic risks, counter fraud measures, internal audit progress, financial management updates, and future audit work. The committee decided to conduct a deep dive into the high needs SEND strategy[^1] and transport, and also agreed to review IT at a later date.
Council - Friday, 12th September, 2025 10.30 am
Councillor Stephen Bunney, Chairman of the Council, opened the meeting with tributes to former councillors and staff, before councillors moved to discuss the financial performance review, the youth justice plan, and a motion regarding asylum seekers. Councillors approved the Lincolnshire Youth Justice Plan 2025-28, and voted to approve an amended motion regarding the location of asylum seekers in the county. They also approved the calendar of meetings for 2026/27, and made appointments to committees and outside bodies.
Corporate Parenting Panel - Thursday, 4th September, 2025 10.00 am
The Corporate Parenting Panel of Lincolnshire Council was scheduled to discuss several reports related to children in care, including the Voices for Choices annual report, the Sufficiency Strategy action plan, the Fostering Service annual report, the Independent Reviewing Service annual report, and the Regulation 44 Independent Visitors report. The panel was also scheduled to review and approve its work programme for the coming year. The meeting was scheduled to take place at the County Offices in Newland, Lincoln.
