Planning and Development Control Committee - Tuesday, 8th July, 2025 7.00 pm
The Hammersmith and Fulham Planning and Development Control Committee met to discuss planning applications for Wellesley Avenue and Sulgrave Road, as well as a redevelopment project on Fulham Road. Councillors approved all recommendations put before them.
Planning and Development Control Committee - Tuesday, 10th June, 2025 7.00 pm
The Planning and Development Control Committee of Hammersmith and Fulham Council met on 10 June 2025, and approved plans for a new hotel in King's Mall Shopping Centre, a show venue in Westfield London Shopping Centre, and an extension to the Holiday Inn Express. Councillors also approved the construction of a new underpass for pedestrians and cyclists to run under the A40, connecting the Imperial White City campus and Latimer Road.
Audit Committee - Monday, 9th June, 2025 7.00 pm
The Audit Committee of Hammersmith and Fulham Council met to discuss external audit plans, internal audit reports, and anti-fraud measures. The committee approved noting the external audit plans for 2024-25 and the head of internal audit's opinion on the council's governance, risk management, and control framework, as well as the Corporate Anti-Fraud Service annual report for 2024-25. Due to containing exempt information, the cybersecurity update was deferred to a later private session.
Licensing Committee - Tuesday, 3rd June, 2025 7.00 pm
Councillor Mercy Umeh, Chair of Licensing Committee, led a meeting of the Licensing Committee, where members reviewed the annual licensing report, covering April 2024 to March 2025, and discussed a new draft Markets and Street Trading Licensing Policy. The committee agreed to put the updated Prescribed Standard Conditions for Street Trading Licences, the updated Regulation of Commodities for Street Trading Licences 2025, and the draft recommended Markets & Street Trading Licensing Policy 2025 – 2030 out for consultation. They also agreed to allow officers to consult on a proposal for the council to declare market rights, and a proposal to designate the whole borough or more streets for regulated street trading activities.
McDonald's Restaurants (312-314) 312 North End Road London SW6 1NG, Licensing Sub-Committee - Wednesday, 28th May, 2025 6.30 pm
The Hammersmith and Fulham Council Licensing Sub-Committee met to discuss an application from SMASH Operations Limited, trading as McDonald's at 312-314 North End Road, for a variation of their premises licence to extend late-night refreshment hours. After hearing from the licensing officer, numerous objectors, and the applicant, the committee decided to reject the application.
