The Appointments Committee for the Assistant Director of Adult Services at Cardiff Council met on 4 September 2025 to interview a candidate for the position. Following the interview, the committee voted to appoint Louise Bassett as Assistant Director of Adult Services. The committee also confirmed that the selection process was conducted fairly and in accordance with the council's appointment processes.

At this meeting, they considered the results of the assessment centre and agreed on the candidates to be included in the final stage of the process.
