The Environment, Transport and Growth Cabinet Panel met to discuss a range of issues, including cycling and walking infrastructure, bus service improvements, local transport planning, and sustainability initiatives. The council also discussed and approved a new corporate plan, and heard reports from various committees.

The Hertfordshire County Council cabinet met on 13 October 2025, and agreed to consult on proposed changes to school admission arrangements, approved a capital re-programming of £21.2 million, endorsed the council's new corporate plan, and agreed to proposed lease and licence arrangements to support a waste transfer station operational contract.

The Environment, Transport and Growth Cabinet Panel met to discuss several key initiatives, including the challenges facing Hertfordshire's high streets, the local nature recovery strategy, and the spatial development strategy. The panel agreed to promote a summit or conference on the future of high streets and town centres, and also agreed to note the report on the local nature recovery strategy, thanking the organisations that contributed to it. The panel also noted the report on the spatial development strategy and the local transport plan.

Cabinet - Tuesday, 16 September 2025 2.00 pm

The Hertfordshire County Council cabinet met to discuss the Refresh Sensory Strategy and to award a contract for the provision of public health nursing services. The cabinet approved the updated Sensory Strategy and action plan, and also voted to award the public health nursing contract to a preferred provider, after discussing additional information in a closed session.
