Annual meeting, Council - Thursday 15th May 2025 5.00 pm

The West Northamptonshire Council meeting scheduled for 15 May 2025 included the election of a chair and vice-chair, the appointment of a leader, and the allocation of seats to committees based on political balance. Councillors were also expected to note the names of the leaders and deputy leaders of the political groups, as well as the members of the Cabinet.

Planning Policy Committee - Wednesday 23rd April 2025 6.00 pm

The Planning Policy Committee was scheduled to convene to discuss the Grand Union and Oxford Canal Conservation Area Review Report, and the Semilong and Trinity Neighbourhood Plan. The meeting was also scheduled to cover apologies for absence, declarations of interest, approval of the minutes from the previous meeting, chair's announcements, and any urgent business.

Strategic Planning Committee - Tuesday 22nd April 2025 2.00 pm

The West Northamptonshire Council's Strategic Planning Committee was scheduled to meet on 22 April 2025 to discuss planning applications and other committee business. The meeting was to be held at The Forum in Moat Lane, Towcester. On the agenda was a reserved matters application relating to a warehouse and distribution unit at Apex Park.

South Planning Committee - Thursday 3rd April 2025 6.00 pm

The South Planning Committee met to discuss four planning applications, making decisions on applications relating to the Bell Plantation, land at Old Tiffield Road, and land east of Manor Farm. A decision on land east of Towcester Road was deferred for a site visit. The committee also considered an urgent item relating to tree works at Bliss Charity Primary School.
