The Council of West Northamptonshire Council convened to consider nominations for Honorary Aldermen and Alderwomen. Strategic Planning Committee - Tuesday 23rd September 2025 2.00 pm
The Strategic Planning Committee of West Northamptonshire Council met to discuss several planning applications, approving a primary school and a distribution warehouse, and deferring a decision on a housing development. The committee approved the construction of a new primary school at Buckton Fields and a storage and distribution building at Zone A, DIRFT, while a decision on a housing development on land north west of Upper High Street, Harpole, was deferred.

The West Northamptonshire Council Planning Policy Committee met to discuss and approve the release of the draft West Northamptonshire Infrastructure and Developer Contributions Supplementary Planning Document (WNIDCSPD) for public consultation. The committee also agreed to use the indexation arrangements outlined in the document for all section 106 agreements[^2] in the interim. Finally, they delegated authority to the Head of Planning Policy and Specialist Services to make minor changes to the document before its release.
