Community Safety Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday, 30th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Community Safety Scrutiny Committee convened to discuss several key issues, including the Stay Safe Partnership's annual report, progress following the His Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) inspection of Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, and the Grenfell Tower Phase 1 and 2 reports. The committee approved the planned work programme for 2025 and 2026, subject to the consideration of items discussed.

Planning and Regulation Committee - Monday, 29th September, 2025 10.30 am

The Planning and Regulation Committee convened to discuss various traffic regulation orders and two significant planning applications. Councillors approved a local impact report and formally objected to the Beacon Fen Energy Park development, while also deferring a decision on a quarry application near Caistor.

Environment Scrutiny Committee - Friday, 26th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Environment Scrutiny Committee met to discuss flood risk management, the Fens 2100+ Programme, the Lincolnshire Coast 2100+ Strategy, and the adoption of an updated local enforcement plan. The committee acknowledged the work undertaken on the Fens 2100+ Programme and supported recommendations to the executive regarding the Lincolnshire Coast 2100+ Strategy and the updated local enforcement plan.

Council - Friday, 12th September, 2025 10.30 am

Councillor Stephen Bunney, Chairman of the Council, opened the meeting with tributes to former councillors and staff, before councillors moved to discuss the financial performance review, the youth justice plan, and a motion regarding asylum seekers. Councillors approved the Lincolnshire Youth Justice Plan 2025-28, and voted to approve an amended motion regarding the location of asylum seekers in the county. They also approved the calendar of meetings for 2026/27, and made appointments to committees and outside bodies.

Environment Scrutiny Committee - Friday, 1st August, 2025 10.00 am

The Environment Scrutiny Committee met to discuss several key issues, including the Lincolnshire Coast 2100+ Programme, biodiversity net gain, the procurement of compaction machinery, and the response to recommendations from the Storms Impact Working Group. The committee reviewed reports and provided feedback to be considered by the Executive Councillor for Environment and the Executive. Additionally, the committee discussed and updated its work programme for the coming months.
