Highways and Transport Scrutiny Committee - Monday, 8th September, 2025 10.00 am
The Lincolnshire County Council's Highways and Transport Scrutiny Committee met on 8 September 2025, and members reviewed the regional rail strategy, highways performance, major projects, and road safety initiatives. The committee supported a recommendation to approve the proposed Bailgate, Lincoln Scheme, and also supported the proposed recommendation to approve the Spalding – Pinchbeck Active Travel Cycleway tender award. The committee also supported recommendations to approve three strategic resurfacing schemes for the A6121 Ryhall Road, Stamford, the A17/A151 Holbeach and Fleet Hargate, and the A52 Leverton and Haltoft End.
Lincolnshire Waste Partnership - Thursday, 24th July, 2025 10.30 am
The Lincolnshire Waste Partnership met to discuss partner updates, a review of their terms of reference, and a waste communications update. The meeting also included a discussion of the partnership's forward plan. Councillor Danny Brookes of Lincolnshire County Council was elected as Chairman of the Lincolnshire Waste Partnership for the year 2025/26, and Councillor Richard Wright of Greater Lincolnshire Leaders and Chief Executives was elected as Vice-Chairman.

At a meeting of the Lincolnshire County Council Executive, councillors reviewed the council's financial performance in 2024-25, approved the re-procurement of the occupational health contract, and agreed to move forward with one of two options for local government reorganisation. The executive voted to recommend option one, the continuity option, to the council.
Lincolnshire Waste Partnership - Tuesday, 24th June, 2025 10.30 am
The Lincolnshire Waste Partnership (LWP) met to discuss waste management and recycling initiatives across the county. Councillor Stephen Bunney, Chairman of the Council, was elected as Chairman for the year 2025/26, and Councillor Richard Wright, Greater Lincolnshire Leaders and CX's, was elected as Vice Chairman. The partnership received updates on partner activities, performance measures, regulatory changes, and the food waste project, and discussed future meeting agendas.
