Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday 22nd May, 2025 11.00 am

The Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee was scheduled to meet to discuss the North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT) Quality Account for 2024-2025. The Quality Account is an annual report providing an overview of the quality of care delivered by the Trust’s mental health and community services. The report pack contains a draft version of the Quality Account, and notes that feedback from the JHOSC was scheduled to be added prior to publication of the final version.

Annual Council - Tuesday 20th May, 2025 7.00 pm

The Annual Council meeting of the London Borough of Barnet on 20 May 2025 addressed several administrative and policy matters, including amendments to cabinet member responsibilities, a constitution review, and the approval of a Cumulative Impact Zone in Burnt Oak. The council also noted the results of recent by-elections and made appointments to various committees and outside bodies.

Adults and Health Overview and Scrutiny Sub-Committee - Wednesday 14th May, 2025 7.00 pm

The Adults and Health Overview and Scrutiny Sub-Committee were scheduled to discuss a range of topics, including an update from the North Central London Integrated Care Board (NCL ICB) on general practice, quality accounts from several NHS trusts and the North London Hospice, the implementation of the Carers' Action Plan, forward plans for the committee and related boards, an update on Task and Finish Groups, and the Cabinet Forward Plan.

Strategic Planning Committee - Tuesday 6th May, 2025 7.00 pm

The Barnet Council Strategic Planning Committee met on 6 May 2025, and voted to refuse planning permission for Hasmonean High School, and agreed the minutes of the previous meeting.

Themed meeting: mental health and patient pathways, Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Monday 28th April, 2025 10.00 am

The North Central London Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (JHOSC) met to discuss mental health pathways in North Central London, and to outline the work programme for the coming year. The meeting was scheduled to include an update on mental health services, focusing on transitions from children's to adult services and information sharing between organisations. The Public reports pack also included the proposed work programme for 2025-26.
